I'm Jason Cunningham; owner of Comfy Bum. I'm a husband, father to our dog 'Sparky', and unashamed lover of new stuff.

The idea came from Japan

Our journey to producing Heated Toilet Seat Cushions began with a holiday to Japan and seeing how they have solved the discomfort of cold toilet seats in winter. In Japan there are electric heated toilet seats (expensive and require an electricity socket alongside the toilet), and various other products which stick on to the seat with tape, straps or buttons.

We understood the problem they were trying to solve, but none were affordable, hygienic and practical. We put our combined 30+ years of design experience together and designed Heated Toilet Seat Cushions. They are affordable, hygienic and practical.

Affordability

We wanted to make a premium product that would be affordable for everyone. We have achieved this by firstly creating a business model that works on low margins of profit. Secondly, we designed a product that didn't need electricity (no running costs). Thirdly we found the cheapest way to manufacture the product. Finally, we produced the product using quality materials and stringent quality assurance so they would last a long time.

Our original customers report that they're still using their original purchase, and they are buying more for their second bathrooms, backups to use when washing them, or as gifts to give away to friends and family. We think this is the best feedback we could possibly receive.

Hygiene and Practicality

We designed the product to attach to all types, shapes and sizes of plastic and ceramic seats without having inconvenient and unhygienic straps, buttons or adhesives. We achieved this by developing a strong, durable and flexible material which sticks to plastic using 'magnetism'. It sticks the same way as cling wrap sticks to plastic and ceramic.

We believe this material is the key to the success of our product. As such, we have a Patent on this material to ensure that nobody can create a product as good as ours, or legally copy our product.

Care instructions

How to use

1). Remove the protective plastic and place your Heated Toilet Seat Cushions directly onto your plastic toilet seat.

That's it. Heated Toilet Seat Cushions are self adhesive and will stick 'magnetically' to the seat like a fridge magnet sticks to your fridge. Just remove and wash as required.                                                                        

How to wash

1). Wash your Heated Toilet Seat Cushions in the washing machine using normal washing detergent. To protect the product, we recommend you place each cushion into separate wash bags when machine washing.      

2). Wash at 30 degrees Celsius or cold wash.                                                                                            

3). Dry in the shade. Do not tumble dry, do not bleach or iron.
